- Form data: information provided when submitting a quote request through our form hosted on the wkf.ms platform
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, visit duration and other analytical data collected via Google Analytics using cookies

- Responding to your quote requests and inquiries
- Communicating with you regarding our construction and renovation services
- Improving our website and user experience through the analysis of browsing data
- Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations

In accordance with Section 8.1 of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25), we obtain your explicit consent before collecting, using or disclosing your personal information.

- Quote request form: by submitting the quote request form, you expressly consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described in this policy
- Cookies: a consent banner is presented to you upon your first visit, allowing you to accept or decline Google Analytics analytical cookies
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@avimco.ca. Withdrawal of consent is not retroactive.
5. Retention of Information
Your personal information is retained only for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.
- Information related to quote requests is retained for a maximum period of 3 years after the last interaction with you
- Browsing data collected through Google Analytics is anonymized and retained in accordance with the retention settings configured in our Google Analytics account
Upon expiry of the retention period, personal information is securely destroyed or anonymized.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
Avimco Construction inc. does not sell, rent or transfer any personal information to third parties for commercial or promotional purposes.
However, your information may be disclosed to the following third parties, strictly within the scope of the purposes described above:
- Google Analytics: anonymized browsing data for statistical analysis of website traffic. Google acts as a subcontractor and is subject to its own privacy policies.
- Wkf.ms (Workforma): form management platform used to receive and process quote requests. Data submitted through the form is hosted on this platform.
We may also disclose your information if required by law or by court order.
7. Security Measures
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against any unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure:
- HTTPS encryption: all communications between your browser and our website are encrypted via the TLS/SSL protocol
- Secure hosting: our website is hosted on the Vercel platform, which provides industry-standard security measures
- Access control: access to personal information is limited to authorized individuals who require it in the course of their duties

In accordance with Sections 27 and 28 of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and PIPEDA, you have the following rights:

- Right of deletion: you may request the deletion of your personal information when its collection or retention is no longer justified
- Right to portability: you may request the communication of your personal information in a structured and commonly used technological format
- Right to withdraw consent: you may withdraw your consent to the collection or use of your information at any time

9. Privacy Incident
In the event of a privacy incident involving personal information (unauthorized access, unauthorized use, unauthorized disclosure or loss), Avimco Construction inc. commits to:
- Taking reasonable measures to reduce the risk of harm and prevent new incidents of the same nature
- Notifying the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec of any incident presenting a serious risk of harm, in accordance with the requirements of Law 25
- Notifying the individuals whose personal information is affected by the incident, when the incident presents a serious risk of harm
- Maintaining a register of privacy incidents, as required by law
